Champions Juve continue to set an impressive pace at the top of the table, with Siena put to the sword 2-0 courtesy of goals from Fabio Cannavaro and David Trezeguet.

Internazionale were far too strong for Empoli on home soil as they claimed a 4-1 win. Predictably, Adriano set the ball rolling when he scored in the fourth minute before Julio Cruz doubled their lead on the stroke of half time.

Ighi Vannucchi threatened a comeback on 64 minutes but Luis Figo silenced such thoughts just two minutes later before Obafemi Martina wrapped things up just five minutes from time.

Milan were classy on their travels as they beat Livorno 3-0 as Alberto Gilardino (23 & 59) bagged a brace and Andrei Shevchenko the other.

Fiorentina keep on winning too as Martin Jorgensen's goal on 40 minutes ensured a 1-0 win over Palermo, whilst Lecce and Lazio played out a 0-0 stalemate.

Parma claimed a much needed 1-0 win over Cagliari as Bernardo Corradi etched his name on the scoresheet in the 22nd minute.

Fabio Quagliarella's early goal was enough for Ascoli at home to Treviso, whilst Roma were excellent in the capital in destroying Chievo 4-0.

Francesco Totti (32 & 39) bagged a first half double, with  Simone Perrotta (64) and Rodrigo Taddei (85) adding gloss to a polished display.

Udinese needed a late goal from Cristian Zapata in the 73rd minute and an own goal from Marcello Castellini to secure a 2-0 win over Sampdoria.
