Thierry Henry has been named French Player of the Year for the third year in succession.
Thierry Henry has been named French Player of the Year for the third year in succession.The Arsenal captain has taken the award, presented by France Football, four times now after also lifting the honour in 2000.
He took the prize ahead of Lyon's international goalkeeper Gregory Coupet.
Chelsea's Claude Makelele was recognised in third place.
