Adriano back to Brazil
Adriano says he will go to Brazil for some rest after being knocked out against Empoli.
Brazilian striker Adriano says he will travel to his homeland for some rest after being knocked out against Empoli.
The Inter marksman received a blow on the head during the match and was unconscious for around a minute.
"I was very scared about what happened to me," he admitted to Radio Jovem.
"Now that the doctors have told me I am okay I have calmed down. They have said to me that I will be able to travel to Brazil on Friday so I will be able to rest with my family.
"I really don't remember too much about what happened, but what I want to say is that I am very thankful to all those fans that went to the hospital and were worried about me.
"It has been a really bad experience but now it's over, thank God. When I arrived at the hospital, the doctors asked me what I remembered.
"They say that I said I was very happy because I had scored a goal!
"Now it's time to get some rest for being able to come back in the best possible condition for training with Inter."
