Brazil striker Adriano is already setting his sights firmly on World Cup glory.

The prolific Internazionale hit-man is one of the favourites to scoop the Golden Boot in Germany, with Brazil also heavily backed to retain the trophy in which they have become synonymous.

Adriano is confident that Brazil are more than capable of securing success in 2006, even going as far as to suggest who he would like to play in the final.

"Having the chance to beat Argentina in the World Cup final would be something really nice,'' said Adriano.

''I would like to play the final against Germany or Argentina but most of all against Argentina because beating them would have a better taste.

"I would like to have the chance to win in 2006 the same titles as won by Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, like being the best player of the year or the best player during the World Cup. I know that I am in condition for doing that.

"I know that I have to compete with many good players, the same happens in the national team. But I am well prepared and I am going to fight for having a place in the national team squad in the World Cup.''
