Dutch outfit Roda JC have confirmed the loan signing of Simon Cziommer.
Dutch outfit Roda JC have confirmed the loan signing of Simon Cziommer until the end of the season.The Schalke midfielder has seen opportunities scarce in the Bundesliga and has made a switch to Holland in a bid to rejuvenate a somewhat stalled career.
Cziommer has experience of Dutch football having arrived at Schalke from Twente and will look to put it to good use between now and the campaign's close.
The 25-year-old joined Schalke in 2003 but has struggled to ever establish himself and spent much of last season at former club Twente in a loan switch.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Roda have agreed to sell Predrag Filipovic to Belgian outfit Lokeren - with the 31-year-old full back having concurred on a deal until 2007, which also has the option for a further two years.
Another player who could be on his way out of Roda is Gregoor van Dijk, with talk of a move to Utrecht gathering pace.
