Diouf taunt for Carragher

El-Hadji Diouf has revealed his delight at putting one over on Jamie Carragher.

El-Hadji Diouf has revealed his delight at putting one over on former team-mate Jamie Carragher as the war of words between Bolton and Liverpool shows no signs of abating.

Monday's fiery 2-2 draw witnessed several altercations in which The Reds duo of Steven Gerrard and Mo Sissoko were both incriminated.

Respective managers Sam Allardyce and Rafa Benitez were quick to criticise the approach of the opposing set of players, although Trotters midfielder Kevin Nolan has since absolved Gerrard of all blame for a challenge which left the former with a chest wound.

Sissoko is also under investigation after a challenge on Diouf and the former Liverpool man has stoked the fire once more by suggesting that Carragher was trying his utmost to rile his opponent.

Diouf put Bolton into a 2-1 lead before Luis Garcia got a late equaliser and the Senegalese frontman was delighted to respond to the jibes of Carragher in the best possible fashion.

"Sometimes people don't like me on the pitch but I am a bad loser and I want to win every time," Diouf told the club's official website.

"The Liverpool match was a big game because we needed to react after Sunderland and Manchester United.

"I have a big character and I don't like it when someone is talking at me.

"I told Carragher to wait because I'm going to score and that's what I did."
