Chelsea have completed the loan signing of Portuguese midfielder Maniche.

The 28-year-old joins the club until the end of the season after completing a temporary move from Dynamo Moscow.

As he is yet to make an appearance in the UEFA Champions League, he will be eligible to contribute to Chelsea's European campaign.

The move means Maniche becomes the first player to have worked with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho at three different clubs.

He began his career with Benfica before Mourinho attracted him to Porto in 2002. He then moved to Dynamo in 2005 for a fee of ‚é¼16 million (£11 million).
