Monaco wait on Evra bids

Monaco are yet to receive an offer for Manchester United target Patrice Evra.

Monaco are yet to receive an offer for Patrice Evra, but have reiterated they would be open to selling the full back.

Evra is a target for Manchester United and Internazionale and has made public his desire for a January transfer.

The France international's stance has prompted Monaco to exclude Evra from the first team squad until the situation is resolved.

Reports in France have suggested the 24-year-old could wrap up a move to Old Trafford by the weekend, with United ready to offer around £4 million.

But Monaco president Michel Pastor has confirmed that, despite the reported interest in Evra, the club have fielded no bids for the player, nor for Marseille target Emmanuel Adebayor.

"If they want to leave Monaco there must be a concrete offer from the clubs they are willing to join," Pastor told Radio Monte Carlo.

"Until now I have not had any direct contacts with the clubs in question.

"They are still with Monaco.

"Of course, no one can keep the players against their will, but they must also show a certain respect and they should come to us to discuss things with their agents."

Pastor accepts there appears to be an attitude problem within the Monaco squad and it is something he is eager to stamp out.

He added: "There is no crisis at Monaco, just a few tantrums from certain players and above all a very bad attitude.

"I do not accept such a situation and sanctions will be taken."
