Foxes in for Fryatt

Leicester City have entered into talks for Walsall's highly-rated striker Matty Fryatt, although Foxes boss Craig Levein denies a deal has been concluded. The England youth international is one of league football's best prospects and has weighed in with 14 goals in 27 games for The Saddlers so far this season.
Now The Foxes, fresh from their morale-boosting 3-2 FA Cup victory over Tottenham, are believed to be in negotiations with their League One counterparts regarding a deal for the 19-year-old starlet.
Walsall boss Paul Merson has previously indicated that a bid of around £300,000 could be enough to snare the prospect, and a down payment with further payments depending on Fryatt's future achievements would form the cornerstone of any deal.
However, Levein has remained coy on talk of Fryatt arriving at The Walkers Stadium, confirming only his interest in the prolific youngster.
"Matty Fryatt is one of the players we've been looking at but there's been no deal finalised," said Levein.
"I don't want to say anything more and when there's something to announce I'll let people know at that point."
