Fergie: Glazers are 'excellent'
Sir Alex Ferguson has described the Glazers as being "excellent" to work with.
Sir Alex Ferguson has described Manchester United's owners, the Glazer family, as "excellent."
The Red Devils boss has backed the Americans to help steer the club to success in the future after they supported his moves into the transfer market this month.
Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic have already arrived at Old Trafford and Ferguson is still chasing a new midfielder.
"Without question, I have found the owners excellent," he said.
"They have never failed in their promises and they've been very supportive in everything we have done.
"I think it's demonstrated by their commitment to the purchase of both players."
Ferguson is still trawling the market for a Roy Keane replacement and paid tribute to new boy Evra, who could make his debut in the derby against Manchester City on Saturday, live on Sky Sports 1.
"I think at this moment in time we're searching certain parts of the market in Europe, all over the place really, for one or two players," admitted Ferguson.
"Obviously, we've known Patrice for some time as he's developed at Monaco over the last two or three years and he's emerged as one of the best full backs in Europe.
"We're very happy to secure his services for Manchester United for the next three and a half years.
"We're probably short of cover in that position anyway and he's a definite alternative to Gaby [Gabriel Heinze]. Patrice is a very attacking player and I think that's a great option for us now."
