The former Tottenham striker is pondering his next move after recently training with Harry Redknapp's Portsmouth.

A move away from Valerenga seems certain this month but there has been no final decision on his next destination.

"Celtic are one alternative," stated Hauge in VG. "There are many clubs who have shown interest.

"In case the right offer comes, we are ready to make a decision.

"But we are talking to many clubs."

Celtic boss Gordon Strachan has already signed Mark Wilson plus Wolves striker Kenny Miller and Hibernian skipper Gary Caldwell on pre-contracts.

Caldwell has agreed to head for Parkhead in the summer but will see out the season with Hibs.
