Geremi happy to stay at Chelsea
Chelsea utility man Geremi says he is happy at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea utility man Geremi says he is happy at Stamford Bridge, despite not being a regular under Jose Mourinho.
The Cameroon international forced his way into the champions' line-up in recent weeks but is currently representing his country in the African Cup of Nations.
He certainly played his part in the 2-0 win over DR Congo, scoring the opener for Cameroon at the weekend.
"So far, it's been going well [at Chelsea]," he informed Sky Sports News. "The last few games, I've been playing regularly which is good for me.
"We've been winning, which is also good for the team. I'm happy.
"As a manager, I think he [Jose Mourinho] proves a lot, proves he is one of the biggest in the world.
"As a person, he's a nice person, but a difficult person in his job. When he says something, I think he loves it when you respect [it]. He doesn't like it when you don't respect when he's working, which is good for the team."
Geremi refused to accept that Chelsea are already nailed on to pull off their second successive title win.
"You don't win the title mathematically yet," he asserted.
"We cannot say we've won the title so we're going to continue with the same ambition."
