Hearts eye further faces
SPL outfit Hearts are being linked with Slavia Prague's Brazilian striker Adauto.
SPL outfit Hearts are pursuing a number of deals before the closing of the transfer window, with Slavia Prague's Brazilian star Adauto being linked with a move to Tynecastle. The striker, full name Evandro Adauto da Silva, is keen to leave the Czech side after a dispute over money owed, and Graham Rix's men are believed to be in the chase for his signature.
Although denying they owe the striker £20,000, the Czech outfit confirmed that Adauto is ready to leave.
"Adauto has shocked us by the steps he has made," Slavia Prague spokesman Alexander Kliment told Sport.
"He has refused to continue in our club and gave an official withdrawal.
"For sure, we don't have any long-term debts towards him, only a very low sum of money after account day but he will receive this as soon as possible."
Bosnian midfielder Mirsad Beslija is also finally ready to arrive at the Edinburgh club.
The Racing Genk star has been the subject of a lengthy pursuit by Rix, with the move seemingly falling through after the Belgian side claimed Hearts reduced their offer for the 26-year-old.
However a club record fee of £850,000 has now been agreed, with a work permit also sealed, and Beslija says he is ready to begin his career in Scotland.
"I will travel to Edinburgh in the morning (Tuesday) and should have my first training session there in the afternoon," said Beslija.
"Everything seems to have finally been agreed."
Hearts have also agreed a deal for Benfica defender Bruno Aguiar, as well as closing in on compatriot and FC Thun youngster Jose Goncalves.
The Edinburgh side are also reported on the brink of completing a £300,000 deal for Finnish striker Juho Makela as they look to add further quality to their squad in a bid to keep their SPL challenge alive.
