Olivier Kapo is staying at Monaco after failing to secure a move away from Stade Louis II.The Frenchman is on loan from Juventus to Monaco, but he has failed to settle at the Ligue 1 side.
Kapo is thought to have fallen out with Monaco coach Francesco Guidolin with the player currently left out of his first team plans.
Manchester United and Deportivo La Coruna were thought to be keen on the attacking midfielder, but both clubs did not follow up their initial interest.
Kapo is also thought to have rejected a loan move to Italian side Messina.
Bordeaux expressed an interest in the former Auxerre man, but it is believed that Monaco blocked the move as they did not want Kapo to join a Ligue 1 rival.
Monaco vice-chairman Gerard Brianti tried to play down the row with Guidolin and insists the club did not try and offload Kapo.
"Kapo will not move. No one forced Kapo to leave," said Brianti.
"There is no relationship trouble between Guidolin and Kapo."
