Moyes unhappy with Fergie rap
Everton boss David Moyes is unhappy with the FA's charge against Duncan Ferguson.
Everton boss David Moyes is unhappy that Duncan Ferguson has been handed a Football Association charge of violent conduct.Ferguson was charged with violent conduct after video evidence caught him shoving Wigan Athletic defender Pascal Chimbonda in the aftermath of his sending off on Tuesday night.
The giant Scot could face a lengthy ban if found guilty of violent conduct, as he is already facing a three-match ban for his dismissal.
Moyes is fuming that the FA compliance unit have decided to charge Ferguson for the second incident and believes Ferguson is being victimised because many other similar incidents have gone unnoticed.
"I can give you a few video clips of games recently and I am sure without too much difficulty you could find them yourselves," said Moyes.
"We said we couldn't defend Duncan, we accepted it got on with it, but somebody in the (FA) compliance department who surely can't have any idea about football has brought this situation up.
"If he has any idea, then he's missed a lot of other situations."
