Francesco Totti admits he is worried about being injured for the World Cup finals.

The Roma captain is worried that he may be sidelined as a result of the many knocks he takes during the course of a game.

And he revealed that a niggling ankle injury has precluded him from training in recent weeks, saying: "Blows are possible in football. I don't want to complain but I'm really worried in view of the World Cup.

"With all these ankle blows I have no time for training sessions. The day after a game I have to do physiotherapy, then 48 hours after a match I start with slow training and the day after we are already slowing down to prepare for another match."

Speaking to Canale 5, he added: "I never have training sessions."
