Vata slams Hamburg stopper
Arminia Bielefeld's Fatmir Vata has slammed Hamburg defender Khalid Boulahrouz.
Arminia Bielefeld's Fatmir Vata has slammed Hamburg defender Khalid Boulahrouz after being forced to limp out of the team's Bundesliga clash at the weekend.
The Albanian midfielder now looks likely to be out of action for around three weeks after Boulahrouz stamped on his ankle during a tackle.
In a post match interview Vata expressed his rage at Boulahrouz.
"Someone like him shouldn't be allowed to play in the Bundesliga, that man is a cannibal," he fumed.
"The DFB must do something about him, he should be sent to prison for a foul like that."
Vata's problems seemed to have increased, though, after being provoked by Hamburg fans whilst leaving the pitch at the AOL Arena.
The Bielefeld star was seen repeatedly gesturing to the home fans and could now face a ban after an examination by the DFB disciplinary committee.
Vata has made 12 appearances for Bielefeld this season, scoring one goal.
