Malouda agrees Lyon deal
Lyon star Florent Malouda has signed a new two-year deal at the club.
Lyon star Florent Malouda has pledged his long-term future to the club by signing a new two-year deal.The new deal will keep Malouda at Stade de Gerland until 2010.
Lyon have been locked in talks with Malouda for some time and the news will come as a massive boost ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven next week.
A number of top clubs around Europe were reported to be tracking Malouda, but Lyon have moved to keep the French international at the club.
The 25-year-old admitted he was happy to stay at the French champions.
"I'm feeling fine here," Malouda said. "Extending my contract was the way for the club to confirm they have a great faith in me".
