Essien: Time to move on

Michael Essien says Chelsea must forget their Champions League disappointment.

Michael Essien has urged his Chelsea team-mates to forget their UEFA Champions League disappointment and finish the season with a flourish.

The Ghanaian missed both legs of the defeat against Barcelona through suspension, although he will return to the Blues squad for Saturday's clash with Tottenham.

He declared: "Losing games is part of a long season. The loser has to put the defeat behind him in order to move forward.

"It is only when you find the ability to forget that you can go on and achieve greater things."

Chelsea are currently 15 points clear at the top of The Premiership with ten games of the season remaining and face an FA Cup quarter final against Newcastle on March 22.
