Dave van den Bergh will leave Utrecht and head for the US at the end of the season.
Dave van den Bergh has been given permission by FC Utrecht to leave the club and go to the United States at the end of the season.The 29-year-old attacker, who has a contract at the club until 2007, has an American wife who still lives in the US.
The club are willing to cooperate with van den Bergh, who has played for the club since 2000, but will keep the player's transfer rights until his contract expires.
This means that should van den Bergh return to another European club before June 2007, Utrecht will be able to ask for a transfer fee for the player.
