Sampdoria: Hands off Foti
Sampdoria have warned top clubs off making a move for Salvatore Foti.
Sampdoria have warned some of the top Premiership clubs that they have no intention of selling young striker Salvatore Foti.
The Blucerchiati are refusing to consider off-loading the promising forward, despite reports that Chelsea are contemplating a é¼7 million (£4.9 million) bid in the summer.
Tottenham and Arsenal are also admirers of the 17-year-old from Sicily, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, but Samp are in no mood to do business.
"For us, Foti is untouchable," warned general director Giuseppe Marotta.
"He won't move from here."
Foti already has a Serie A goal to his name, an injury time strike against Messina, and the exciting teenager has also been followed by Manchester United in the past.
The Italy Under-17 international claimed recently he made the right choice in joining the Genoa club as he wanted to make his mark in Serie A.
