Gerard returns to Monaco
Monaco midfielder Gerard returns to the club following surgery last November.
Monaco midfielder Gerard is set to return to the club this week.
The Spanish midfielder has been out for five months with an Achilles tendon injury, sustained during Monaco's 0-0 draw at PSG last November.
The 27-year-old returned to Barcelona for surgery, where he was a player before he moved to the Principality last year.
Gerard has finished his treatment and is set to rejoin Francesco Guidolin's side to prepare for next season.
The former Barcelona player is unlikely to feature for Monaco before the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Eric Cubilier's future is uncertain. The Monaco full back has played just ten league matches this season and is thought to have agreed a deal with Nantes for next season.
The 25-year-old is contracted at Monaco until June 2007, but is set to leave, having no future at Stade Louis II.
