Rix remains with Cherries

Bournemouth have extended the loan of midfielder Ben Rix for the rest of the season.

The 22-year-old has been with the League One club from Crewe Alexandra since the end of January and will see out the current campaign with Sean O'Driscoll's side.

Rix has impressed the Dean Court club during his six appearances, despite the club being three points above the bottom four.

The Cherries need to get results in their final six league games in order to pull away from the relegation trouble.
