Larsson misses Milan clash
Henrik Larsson has been ruled out of Barca's Champions League clash with Milan.
Henrik Larsson has been ruled out Barcelona's UEFA Champions League clash with Milan next week. The Swede is sidelined with a hamstring problem he picked up in Friday's 1-0 win over Villarreal.
Larsson was forced off with the injury and although the problem is not thought to be too serious he will not make the trip to Italy.
Barca coach Frank Rijkaard admitted it was a blow to lose Larsson with Lionel Messi already sidelined.
"This is bad news for us, but now Barca need total concentration for the match," said Rijkaard.
Meanwhile, Messi has revealed he will not rush his return to action from injury.
The Argentine ace is struggling with a thigh problem and he has returned to his homeland to undergo treatment on the injury.
Messi has been sidelined since March with the injury and he is set to miss both legs of the semi-final against Milan.
"I made a mistake when I wanted to play again before the time I was ready so now I am only going to return when I am totally recovered and the doctors tell me that I am ok," said Messi.
"Now I am going to Argentina and I will return to Spain when I am recovered.
"I am not going to play again if I am not totally recovered.
"It's good for me to be in Argentina because in Spain I am under pressure and get too anxious because I see my team mates and want to be with them on the pitch."
