Adriano denies Inter attack

Internazionale ace Adriano has moved to reject reports he was unhappy at the club.

Reports emanating from Brazil claimed Adriano was at odds with coach Roberto Mancini and some of the Inter players.

Inter and Adriano have acted quickly to rubbish the reports and insist the Brazilian is happy at the Giuseppe Meazza.

"With reference to the declarations posted by a few Italian press agencies, that made references to a presumed interview made with the Brazilian website 'UOL Esporte', Adriano, and FC Internazionale, wants to make clear to not knowing anything of the declarations that have been referred to him and to have put on record the disappointment for this difficult moment lived by the team," a club statement read.

"Adriano reaffirms to have complete faith in the club and in the team, a faith that he wanted to reaffirm personally to Massimo Moratti in a private meeting that happened in the few last days",.
