Oleguer blow for Barca

Oleguer has been ruled out of Barcelona's Champions League semi-final second leg.

Barcelona defender Oleguer has been ruled out of the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg against Milan because of injury.

The Spaniard damaged his thigh muscle during the 1-0 win over the Italian giants at the San Siro on Tuesday and was forced off mid-way through the second half.

Doctors have told the stopper to rest the knock and that he will be unable to play for 10 days, also ruling him out of Barca's crunch La Liga game with Sevilla at the weekend.

Oleguer has been a regular in the Catalan giants' back-four this season and the absence will be a blow to boss Frank Rijkaard as he looks to orchestrate the clean sheet that will guarantee them a place in the Champions League final in Paris.
