Viduka reveals FA Cup affection

Middlesbrough striker Mark Viduka holds the FA Cup in the highest regard.

Middlesbrough striker Mark Viduka holds the FA Cup in the highest regard and admits facing West Ham in the semi-finals will be a special experience.

Boro face their second last-four outing in the space of four days on Sunday, having tackled Steaua Bucharest in the Uefa Cup on Thursday, and the Australian is thrilled to be involved in the latter stages of the competition.

Viduka has revealed the competition caught his imagination as a youngster in Australia and admits it is a dream come true to be in with a chance of reaching the final.

"I remember when I was a kid in Melbourne, we always used to watch the FA Cup," Viduka told Sky Sports News.

"It was the only live show from England, the only live football match, and we used to love watching that.

"To be involved in it is something special."
