Sionko favours Rangers move
Austria Vienna's Libor Sionko is believed to have set his heart on a move to Rangers.
Austria Vienna midfielder Libor Sionko is believed to have set his heart on a move to Rangers, despite a fresh link with Monaco emerging.
The Czech Republic international, who is available on a Bosman transfer, has impressed for Vienna this season and attracted the attention of numerous clubs across the continent.
A summer move to Rangers has been mentioned, and Sionko has previously expressed his desire to join the Glasgow outfit.
However, reports emanating from France suggest that Monaco are on the brink of capturing his signature.
The 29-year-old's agent Pavel Zika has dismissed the Monaco speculation though, reiterating that Rangers remains Sionko's first choice.
"We don't know about Monaco," said Zika. "From France, only Strasbourg have been interested.
"However, Libor prefers the offer from Rangers."
