Koller eyes England move

Jan Koller has revealed he is interested in a move to The Premiership in the summer.

Czech striker Jan Koller has revealed he is interested in a move to The Premiership in the summer.

The 33-year-old played his final game for Borussia Dortmund in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt before moving on to pastures new.

Clubs in all of Europe's top leagues have expressed an interest in the giant front-man, but as yet there are no concrete offers on the table.

"Clubs have been asking, but there is nothing specific yet," Koller said. "I want to play in France, Italy or England.

"I like The Premiership, that is the most interesting for the spectators."

Fulham tried to bring Koller to England when he left Anderlecht in 2001 but Chris Coleman is not one of the managers interested in the striker's services this time around.

"No, they are not on the list this time," he added.

Meanwhile, the Dortmund star says he needs a change of scenery after five years in Germany and although offers have come in from other Bundesliga clubs, he could not play for any other German team.

Koller is looking to close out his career elsewhere on the continent as he begins contemplating retirement.

"I have been thinking for a long time that I need a change. I have been here five years and I will play another year or two before I hang up my boots.

"So I want to experience something else, I want to be out of Germany.

"I could stay here, I had some offers, Hertha were interested very much but Dortmund is the only club with my heart in Germany.

"I want to experience a different league," he concluded.
