Horlock seals Rovers switch
Doncaster have clinched the signing of veteran midfielder Kevin Horlock.
Doncaster have clinched the signing of midfielder Kevin Horlock. The 33-year-old had been on loan at Belle Vue from Ipswich for much of the season, but he initially turned down a permanent move, preferring to keep his options open.
Having been released by Ipswich, Horlock has now agreed a two-year deal with Rovers.
The former Manchester City and West Ham man was a key member of Rovers' late surge up the League One table, and the club are delighted to have secured his services.
"This is a great signing and we have worked hard to convince Kevin to join us permanently after he had gone back to look at his options," chairman John Ryan told the Doncaster's official website.
"Kevin will add quality to the midfield with his calm, experienced head commanding the centre."
Meanwhile, defender Dave Mulligan has been included in the New Zealand squad for a series of upcoming friendlies.
New Zealand face Hungary, Georgia, Estonia and Brazil later this month and at the start of June.
