O'Connor extends Wolves deal

Wolves midfielder Kevin O'Connor has agreed a new one-year deal with the club.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Kevin O'Connor has agreed a new one-year deal with the club.

The 20-year-old spent time on loan at League Two outfit Stockport County last term where he gained valuable first-team experience.

O'Connor was a regular in Wolves' reserves last season, playing 16 times before helping Stockport avoid the drop.

The Irishman moved to Molineux in 2002, joining the club's academy before signing professional terms a year later, but is yet to make his first-team bow.

The club have the option to extend the contract by a further year should O'Connor impress next season.
