Eto'o: I'll play with Henry

Samuel Eto'o says he would love Thierry Henry to join him at Barcelona.

Samuel Eto'o would love Thierry Henry to join him at Barcelona as the two strikers prepare to go head-to-head in Wednesday's UEFA Champions League final.

The Cameroon international has dismissed suggestions that his place would be under threat if the Arsenal skipper heads to Camp Nou in the summer.

Instead, Eto'o is relishing any prospect of teaming up with the French forward.

"That is not my problem," he told France Football, when quizzed on the speculation linking the ex-Juventus man with a switch to Barca. "It is Frank Rijkaard's one.

"Some journalists wanted to create tension between 'Titi' and me. I am laughing.

"I have 'Titi' on the phone all the time.

"If he comes to Barca, thinking he will put Samuel Eto'o on the bench, I say 'no'.

"We will play together.

"We will be team-mates.

"I do not enter any controversy.

"I would like the coach to sign 'Titi'. He is my friend."
