Inter close on Dacourt

Internazionale are close to sealing the signing of Olivier Dacourt.

Dacourt is free to move to Inter as his contract at Roma expires at the end of the month and he has turned down the capital club's offer to extend his stay.

A number of clubs have been linked with Dacourt, but Inter look to have jumped to the head of the queue for his signature.

Inter are ready to offer the Frenchman a three-year contract in a bid to lure him to the Giuseppe Meazza.

The Nerazzurri are planning to reshape their squad and Dacourt could be the first of many new faces at the club during the close-season.
