Boston United have signed former Doncaster Rovers left back Tim Ryan. The 31-year-old arrives at the Staffsmart Stadium after ending the season with League Two rivals Peterborough United.
Ryan reportedly rejected offers from Chester City and Stockport County in order to join Steve Evans' side for next season.
"Tim is an excellent addition for us and he brings with him not only a wealth of experience, but also a real desire to be successful," Evans told Boston's official website.
"I genuinely thought that he would be tempted elsewhere and therefore, it really is excellent news."
The news comes as The Pilgrims unveiled their end-of-season retained list, with the club releasing Lawrie Dudfield and Steve Melton.
Austin McCann, Danny Thomas and Alan White also look set to leave the club after turning down new deals with Boston, but Paul Ellender, David Galbraith, Mark Greaves, Chris Holland and Simon Rusk have all signed new contracts.
