Wome makes Werder switch

Werder Bremen have confirmed the signing of Internazionale defender Pierre Wome.

The Cameroon international, who once had a spell in England at Fulham, has put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal.

Wome only arrived at Internazionale in the summer from Brescia but the move quickly soured as he failed to claim a regular starting spot.

After a season of frustration on the touchline he has decided to seek pastures new and try his hand in Germany and the Bundesliga.

Inter coach Roberto Mancini was never convinced of the player's abilities and thus, it was no surprise when Werder announced that the player had jumped ship to Germany.
