The veteran has admitted he is surprised by the scandals dogging the Turin club as he tries to focus on the World Cup at the training camp in Tignes.

"At first, I felt surprise," he confessed. "I admit, in the beginning, I didn't pay attention to that story.

"I believed it was a kind of Italian joke.

"Then, little by little, we discovered things were not very clear.

"People talk about a possible relegation of Juventus to Serie B or Serie C.

"If I had been younger, that could have worried me a lot.

"We will wait and see, we can't do anything else anyway.

"I am a little shocked by that case. All the same, it seems incredible.

"Maybe I can't really imagine this, notably the fact that Juventus could play in Serie B."
