Real vultures hover over Juve
Real Madrid are ready to raid Juventus if the club are relegated to Serie B.
Reports in the Italian media claim that Real Madrid are ready to raid Juventus if the Turin club are relegated following the match fixing scandal currently engulfing the club.
Should Juventus be relegated to Serie B, it is likely that they will lose many of their world class players, with Real one of a host of clubs monitoring the situation.
Madrid's marketing consultant Ernesto Bronzetti confirmed his club's interest in several of the Juve stars highlighting Gianluca Zambrotta and Zlatan Ibrahimovic as Los Galacticos' main targets.
"Zambrotta is one of the best wingers around and should he become available in the market then Real Madrid will do everything possible to sign him," Bronzetti told 'Gurin Sportivo'.
"Ibrahimovic is a player that Real have liked for a long time.
"We will be following the Juventus situation very closely, as many of their stars said they would leave should the club be relegated."
Bronzetti also commented on Real's ongoing search for a new manager, and confirmed that as of yet, nothing has been decided.
"Fabio Capello would also be very welcome here at Madrid, we have a very good list with some big names on it, including a place for the experienced Sven Goran Eriksson."
