Jamaica forwards Ricardo Fuller and Deon Burton are looking forward to pitting their wits against the England defence.

Southampton man Fuller, who hit a rich vein of form at the back end of last season, will be hoping that he can impress on the international stage on Saturday.

The front-man has revealed just how much the whole nation of Jamaica are anticipating the Old Trafford encounter.

"Back home everyone is looking forward to this game," he told Sky Sports News.

"Obviously with England being the mother country and Jamaica being the colony, people will be excited."

However, despite their recent heavy defeat to Ghana, Fuller is adamant that The Reggae Boyz are not in England simply to enjoy the occasion.

"We're not here to make up the numbers or to give England an easy practice game, we are here to try and beat England ourselves," he explained.

"We want to do the best we can to come away with a positive result."

Fellow hot-shot Burton has mixed feelings about the game, after being brought into the squad due to the disciplinary action taken against Watford striker Marlon King.

"On a purely individual basis, I am delighted to be in the squad." said Burton.

"It is a massive game for myself."

The much-travelled striker has revealed just how much the whole Jamaica squad are feeling ahead of the game at Old Trafford.

"The boys are buzzing and in very buoyant mood, the game is like a World Cup final for us and our nation because we haven't qualified," he stated.

Jamaica are viewed as England's ideal opponents for their game against Trinidad & Tobago at the World Cup.
