Deschamps open to Juve move

Didier Deschamps is interested in a move to Juventus, even if the Old Lady are relegated.

Didier Deschamps is interested in a move to Juventus, even if the Old Lady are relegated to Serie B.

The Turin giants are being tipped to be relegated following financial irregularities along with parting with coach Fabio Capello.

The former Roma tactician is expected to leave if demoted and is the favourite to land the vacant hot-seat at Real Madrid.

A host of names are already being linked as Capello's possible successor, including Walter Novellino and now Deschamps.

The former Monaco coach rejected Marseille last week, but stated he would be interested in managing Italian titans Juve.

"Coaching Juve in Serie B would be an honour," Deschamps told La Stampa. "I'd accept going to Serie B."

Roberto Donadoni is another name in the frame to succeed Capello and he is flattered to be linked with such an illustrious club.

"I've read about the interest in the papers," Donadoni said. "This flatters me.

"Juve are a great club. I think going to Juve is everyone's ambition."

Meanwhile, French ace David Trezeguet is remaining tight-lipped on his future with the Old Lady.

"It's too soon to say anything," said the striker. "We will see what happens."
