Hamburg have reportedly renewed their interest in Fiorentina striker Valeri Bojinov
Hamburg have reportedly renewed their interest in Fiorentina striker Valeri Bojinov.
German media reports claim that the 20-year-old Bulgarian star is now HSV's top target after the Rothosen failed to secure the signing of Peruvian Jefferson Farfan from PSV Eindhoven earlier this week.
Hamburg bosses are known to have enquired about Bojinov's services during last winter's transfer window and are now expected to make a concerted effort to bring the youngster to the AOL Arena this summer.
Fiorentina president Andrea Della Valle is reportedly due to arrive in Hamburg to begin talks in the next few days.
Hamburg coach Thomas Doll desperately needs a new quality strike-force after losing Sergej Barbarez, Naohiro Takahara and Ailton, as he attempts to build on an impressive third-place Bundesliga finish last term.
