Latka eyes England return

Martin Latka admits he would like the chance to play in England again.

Latka left Birmingham at the end of the season after the club decided not to take up the option of making his loan move from Slavia Prague permanent.

The Czech Republic Under-21 international enjoyed his time at St Andrews despite not playing regularly and he would like the opportunity to try his luck again in England at some point.

"Despite all this, I would like to return to England one time," Latka told MF Dnes. "No matter if it's back to Birmingham or wherever else.

"To play such football, that's something every player is dreaming of.

"If there is something that I will remember from England, it is the fans. It is something that has remained with me."

Turning his attentions to Slavia Prague, Latka is looking forward to the new season.

"I believe we will play at the top, I am looking forward to the Uefa Cup too."
