Cassano Milan rumours rejected

Antonio Cassano's agent has rejected reports linking the player with a move to Milan.

Antonio Cassano's agent has rejected reports linking the player with a move to Milan.

Reports emanating from Italy claim Milan are lining up a move to sign the Italian international from Real Madrid as they seek a replacement for Andrei Shevchenko.

Cassano has endured a disappointing time in the Spanish capital since arriving from Roma last January.

The player's agent Antonio Bozzo insists Cassano plans to stay at Real and fight for his place.

"These Cassano to Milan rumours are press rumours," said Bozzo.

"I haven't spoken to them (Milan), but I can reaffirm Antonio's will is not to leave Madrid.

"He wants to stay at Real because until now he hasn't had the possibility to express his potential.

"The meeting I had a month ago with Real officials has shown me clearly that they are absolutely happy with Antonio's behaviour."
