Miccoli or Cozza for Reggina

Reggina want to sign Juventus' Fabrizio Miccoli, should Francesco Cozza fail to sign.

Reggina are anxious to bring Juventus striker Fabrizio Miccoli to the club, should Francesco Cozza fail to sign permanently.

Cozza, who moved to Siena in the summer of 2004, scored nine Serie A goals on loan at the Stadio Oreste Granillo last season but contract talks have stalled for the 32-year-old.

The Stadio Delle Alpi's Miccoli (pictured) has therefore been seen as an option, after his successful year on loan under Ronald Koeman at Benfica.

The Italian has stated his desire to remain at Estadio da Luz though earlier in the year, where he scored four goals in 17 matches last season.

Reggina survived in Serie A last term, but had a goal difference of minus 26 and would surely expect Miccoli to add goals to that tally.

It remains to be seen whether coach Walter Mazzarri will be boosted by Cozza's contract or a potential Miccoli return to Serie A.
