De Vlieger returns to Belgium
Former Manchester City keeper Geert de Vlieger has signed for Zulte Waregem.
Former Manchester City goalkeeper Geert de Vlieger has tied up his return to Belgium.The 34-year-old has penned a two-year deal with Zulte Waregem following his release from Eastlands at the end of last season.
De Vlieger spent two seasons at City but his chances of breaking into the first team were heavily disrupted by injury.
He tore his Achilles soon after joining the club and never managed to appear in a Premiership match.
