The Faroe Islands international is determined to give his best and is ready to fight for his place when he returns to the club for pre-season training.

Jorgensen is one of three Sky Blues players on the transfer list who have been unable to find new clubs over the summer.

"I will be back at Ryton and ready to fight for my place unless my situation changes," he told the Coventry Evening Telegraph.

"I have been in contact with a couple of clubs, but things are pretty slow at this time of year, and managers usually leave things late before making decisions on players.

"The fact is Coventry is my club and I want to be here, but I also have to be realistic and be prepared to move on," he added.
