Granata grab experienced duo

Torino have announced the signing of Diego De Ascentis and Giuseppe Pancaro.

Granata won promotion to the top flight of Italian football last season, and are looking to infuse their squad with the necessary quality to ensure they stay up.

De Ascentis returns to his old club on a free transfer from Livorno, after playing 29 times last season.

Pancaro offers 14 years' worth of experience in Serie A and is another free transfer from troubled Fiorentina after making 18 appearances last term for Viola.

Now both players will be relied upon to help guide the side to safety as they prepare for the upcoming top flight season in Italy.
