Pilgrims trial defender

Boston have handed a trial to former Cardiff defender Daniel Parslow.

The stopper was released by The Bluebirds at the end of last term and has pitched up at York Street for a trial.

Pilgrims boss Steve Evans will allow Parslow to spend some time with his squad during pre-season and gave him a chance to shine in a friendly on Wednesday.

The stopper played the full 90 minutes of Boston's 4-1 friendly defeat to Championship side Leicester.

Parslow did not disgrace himself against The Foxes and is likely to get another chance to impress.
