Manchester City have confirmed that they are in talks with Bernardo Corradi.
Manchester City have confirmed that they are in talks with Bernardo Corradi. The player's agent has previously claimed that his client and City were engaged in discussions over personal terms and this has now been ratified by the club.
A transfer fee of £1 million has been agreed with the Italian's paymaster, Valencia, and it now all depends on how talks progress between the player and City chief Stuart Pearce.
Corradi spent last season on-loan at Parma, where he scored ten goals, but it now seems as though the one-time Italy international could be donning the blue of City next term.
The 30-year-old hit-man is expected to be unveiled within the next few days, with City having released a statement to clarify the current situation.
''We have been given permission to speak to Bernardo and his representatives and are currently doing so,'' read a statement on the club's official website.
