Bravo eager for Spanish chance

Mexico international Omar Bravo insists he would jump at the chance of a move to Spain.

Mexico international Omar Bravo insists he would jump at the chance of a move to Spain.

The 26-year-old is on the radar of Primera outfit Racing Santander who are hoping to complete a double swoop for Bravo and his international colleague Jared Borgetti.

Bravo is currently on the books of Mexican outfit Chivas and concedes that they will have the final say over his future.

However, he has made it clear he would relish the prospect of the chance to test himself in La Liga.

"Frankly, I don't know anything," he stated. "Jorge Vergara (Chivas president) is in charge, he will decide and only tell me of the decision when he has taken it.

"Without being disrespectful to Mexican football, the Spanish league is another level. It would be a new experience and take my career to a new stage, for that reason I believe it's worth trying."
