Bizarri joins Nastic ranks

Gimnastic de Tarragona have unveiled Argentine goalkeeper Albano Bizarri.

Gimnastic de Tarragona have officially unveiled Argentine goalkeeper Albano Bizarri.

The 28-year-old, who had a spell at Real Madrid earlier in his career, joins from Segunda outfit Real Valladolid.

Bizarri spoke off his delight at securing a return to top-flight football and insisted he would be going all-out to make Nastic's number one jersey his own.

"I am very happy and very thankful," he stated. "They (Nastic) have made me feel very welcome and I am going to bring everything I can to the club.

"The coach will find me a good professional, but I won't be demonstrating anything unless it is on the pitch."

Bizarri will fight Alvaro Iglesias and Ruben Perez for a starting spot but is expected to be the club's first-choice in La Primera next term.
